Together with Logistics &amp; Automation, the trade fair recorded a ten per cent increase in visitor numbers. The feedback from exhibitors and visitors was positive.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For two days, Messe Dortmund was the meeting place for the packaging technology community in North Rhine-Westphalia and beyond. The exhibitors at the <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=empack\">Empack<\/a> presented the entire value chain of packaging - from <strong>Machines, peripheral devices and materials through to complete solutions and services<\/strong> - in an atmosphere conducive to dialogue. The distances are short, there are no queues and visitors can exchange contact details with exhibitors within seconds using the Smart Badge. This concept, tried and tested at the Easyfairs trade fairs, was once again well received. In conjunction with Logistics &amp; Automation, which took place at the same time as Empack<strong> 2,600 visitors<\/strong> counted. Compared to 2022, when Logistics &amp; Automation also took place in Dortmund together with Empack, this corresponds to an increase of ten per cent.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eThe figures and the feedback we have received from exhibitors and visitors confirm that Empack is on the right track: the trade fair is regional, efficient and personal, and the combination of intralogistics and packaging topics is well received. Everything is geared towards the industry experts exchanging ideas and visitors finding solutions for their very individual tasks - with a minimum of effort and maximum benefit for everyone involved.\u201c<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maria Soloveva<\/strong>, Project Manager<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The statements from visitors show that this goal was achieved. The exhibitors\u201e statements speak for themselves: OKI Europe, Kay Strucks, Senior Manager Marketing Operations and Events EMEA: \"We were exhibitors at Empack for the first time this year and are delighted. Thanks to the good organisation before and during the trade fair, we were offered an excellent platform for generating leads in the Rhine-Ruhr region. The <strong>Visitor quality convinced us<\/strong> to be there again next year.\u201c<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eWe are extremely satisfied with our participation in the trade fair. The positive atmosphere, the professional organisation and the many good discussions about our customised packaging solutions were very promising. The personal atmosphere made the dialogue with the visitors particularly pleasant.\u201c<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marco Growe<\/strong>, Sales Manager of Kn\u00fcppel Verpackung GmbH &amp; Co. KG<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Empack supporting programme was also well attended. Maria Soloveva: \u201eHere we presented key topics such as <strong>Digitalisation and sustainability<\/strong> and was able to attract a broad spectrum of competent speakers from industry and research - and also included a thoroughly critical voice in the form of Deutsche Umwelthilfe. That was well received.\u201c True to the motto \u201eAfter the trade fair is before the trade fair\u201c, the organisers are already in the final stages of preparation for the next Empack, which will take place from 12 to 13 June 2024 in the Hamburg metropolitan and logistics region, also together with Logistics &amp; Automation. This is where the packaging industry community from the north of Germany will meet.
