KG. Philipp Zimmermann becomes CEO Digital &amp; Webfed and thus also assumes responsibility for the segment, sales and product management. He succeeds Christoph M\u00fcller.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Markus D\u00f6rr will take over responsibility for the commercial areas alongside Philipp Zimmermann as CFO. He was previously responsible for the finances of the subsidiary Koenig &amp; Bauer Industrial. As CTO, Thomas Potzkai will continue to be responsible for technology and service.<\/p>\n<p>With this step, the Group is consistently aligning its governance structure with market requirements and <strong>strengthens the independence of the segments<\/strong>. As part of the \u201eSpotlight\u201c focus programme, the <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=koenig+bauer\">Koenig &amp; Bauer<\/a> announced the \u201eD&amp;W 2.0\u201c reorganisation programme at the beginning of May 2024 to counter the ongoing loss-making situation in the Digital &amp; Webfed segment. On the <strong>Organisational, structural and operational measures are put to the test<\/strong> to safeguard earnings opportunities in the growth markets of flexible packaging, digital printing and corrugated board. In addition to the comprehensive service business - including for the installed base of newspaper printing presses - the focus in recent years has shifted to <strong>Inkjet, CI flexo and corrugated board printing machines<\/strong> relocated.<\/p>\n<p>The harmonisation and further development of the governance structures will set the course for future viability by enabling Koenig &amp; Bauer Digital &amp; Webfed to act autonomously in the markets and react more agilely to specific developments. With this step, the<strong> Setting the course for a generational transition<\/strong> has been made.
