{"id":94484,"date":"2024-08-02T13:27:20","date_gmt":"2024-08-02T11:27:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?p=94484"},"modified":"2024-08-02T10:23:50","modified_gmt":"2024-08-02T08:23:50","slug":"multivac-takes-over-italianpack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/en\/multivac-uebernimmt-italianpack\/","title":{"rendered":"Multivac takes over Italian Pack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>In a strategic move to expand its product portfolio and market reach, the Multivac Group has acquired 80 per cent of the shares in Italian Pack S.p.A., a leading manufacturer of automatic and semi-automatic packaging machines based in Como, Italy. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The acquisition, which came into effect on 17 July 2024, positions Italian Pack as a new business unit within the <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=multivac\">Multivac<\/a>-organisation under the leadership of Tomaso Petrini, the current Managing Director of Italian Pack. <strong>Christian Traumann<\/strong>, CEO of the Multivac Group, commented on the acquisition and stated that the <strong>Integration of Italian Pack products significantly expands Multivac's offering<\/strong> will.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eWith this acquisition, we are expanding our portfolio to include traysealers in the lower and medium price segments as well as fillers and peripheral equipment such as denesters and lidding machines,\u201c said Traumann. \u201eThese new solutions will enable us to respond even better to our customers\u201c needs in the future.\"<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Italian Pack will continue to serve its customers in the craft and SME sector through its independent dealer network, which will continue to be responsible for the distribution of Italian Pack solutions.
