The idea arose from the desire to create a forward-looking solution to a socially relevant problem. Even heavily soiled or damaged items are reliably identified. The AI analyses the material, brand, volume and weight of the waste, enabling particularly accurate sorting. Customers include, among others <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/tag\/remondis\/\">Remondis<\/a>, Veolia and <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/tag\/alba\/\">ALBA<\/a>. The technology is already being used in several areas, including the sorting of commercial waste, electronic waste and materials from the Yellow Bag. Of particular note is the AI's ability to recognise and selectively sort out hazardous materials such as batteries, which significantly reduces the risk of fire in sorting facilities.<\/p><p>The founders are particularly focussed on the further development of their technology in order to meet the growing demands of waste management in the future.
