This innovation is intended to move the packaging industry further in the direction of sustainability.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=pulpac&amp;cat=-1&amp;date-all=all&amp;begin=&amp;end=\">PulPac<\/a>, known for its dry moulded fibre technology, and <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=PA+Consulting&amp;cat=-1&amp;date-all=all&amp;begin=&amp;end=\">PA Consulting<\/a> have jointly developed a new <strong>Bottle cap made from fibre-based material<\/strong> which is being trialled by the Bottle Collective, a joint initiative with members such as Diageo, Logoplaste, Haleon and Sanofi. These closures could play an important role in the transition from plastic to fibre-based packaging.<\/p>\n<p>By introducing dry moulded fibre in bottle closures, companies could improve their<strong> Reduce ecological footprint<\/strong>, by offering sustainable alternatives to plastic packaging. According to PulPac and PA Consulting, this is an important step towards a wider application of fibre-based technology.
