On 5 and 6 December 2024, the German Packaging Institute e. V. (dvi) invites you to the 34th Dresden Packaging Conference. The event is dedicated to the topics of reusable packaging, innovations in the packaging industry and the role of digitalisation in sorting. Early bookers benefit from special conditions until 4 October.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Under the motto \u201eEverything is spinning\u201c, the 34th edition of the. Dresden Packaging Conference<\/a> in the Saxon state capital. The German Packaging Institute e. V. (dvi)<\/a> This traditional annual event brings together leading Representatives of industry, trade, science and environmental protection<\/strong> to discuss key topics such as reusable packaging, digital technologies and innovations.<\/p>\n

The experts already announced include representatives from WWF, Dirk Rossmann, Lindt & Spr\u00fcngli and numerous companies in the packaging industry<\/strong>. They will address current issues such as the importance of reusable systems and the possibilities of artificial intelligence in packaging sorting. The participation of start-ups presenting their disruptive innovations will bring a breath of fresh air to the event.<\/p>

Another focus of the conference is the Networking of junior staff<\/strong>. Numerous students from packaging-related degree programmes from Germany and Austria are expected to attend. The dvi sees this as a valuable opportunity to introduce specialised staff to companies at an early stage and to make it easier for students to enter the industry.<\/p>\n

In addition to specialist presentations and discussions, the conference also offers opportunities for networking, especially at the evening event on Thursday. The event is supported by companies such as Mitsubishi Electric, Fachpack and Herrmann Ultraschall. Registration for the Dresden Packaging Conference and the accompanying in-house exhibition at watttron and FormerFab on 4 December is now open via the dvi website.
