These paper-based pouches are designed to impress with their functionality and environmental friendliness.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=Faller+Packaging&amp;cat=-1&amp;date-all=all&amp;begin=&amp;end=\">Faller Packaging<\/a> focuses on sustainable packaging solutions and launches a development on the market: Paper Pouches, which can be used as environmentally friendly packaging. <strong>Alternative to conventional folding cartons in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry<\/strong> could serve. The company has successfully taken the paper bag concept through the internal product innovation process (PIP), with initial positive results.<\/p>\n<p>Paper pouches offer numerous advantages that make them a future-orientated packaging solution. The lower weight<strong> Reduces storage, transport and waste volumes<\/strong>, which can reduce CO<sub>\u2082<\/sub> can be saved. An independent life cycle assessment confirms these savings. The bags are recyclable, biodegradable and available in different types of paper - with and without additional coating. They offer integrated first-opening protection, so there is no need for additional labelling. As part of a test run, various products such as blister packs and pens were packaged in the prototypes of the printed pouches. Particular attention was paid to durability and functionality, which must meet industry standards.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eThe path to developing biodegradable and sealable paper packaging for medicines is clear.\u201c<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sarina Diebold<\/strong>, Marketing Manager<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Nikolaus Reichenbach, Director Strategic Development at Faller Packaging, emphasises that feedback from pharmacists and users plays a central role in the further development of the paper pouches.
