The sustainable packaging solution is expected to be available to consumers in early 2025 and is fully recyclable.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=Paboco&amp;cat=-1&amp;date-all=all&amp;begin=&amp;end=\">Paboco<\/a> has worked with Blue Ocean Closures to develop the first market-ready paper bottle with a fibre-based closure, which is expected to be launched in early 2025. The total weight of the bottle including the closure is less than 16 grams, allowing the company to realise its approach of a <strong>lightweight, material-efficient packaging solution<\/strong> is being pursued. Michael Michelsen, Commercial Director of Paboco, emphasises that this innovation represents a significant step forward for the packaging industry, as it is offered not just as a concept, but as a real, recyclable packaging solution.<\/p>\n<p>The bottle is <strong>Fully recyclable and consists of a thin HDPE barrier<\/strong>, which weighs less than 2 grams. According to Paboco, this combination should pave the way for further sustainable packaging solutions and drive the switch to bio-based materials. The Absolut Group is one of the first partners to utilise this packaging solution.
