Mets\u00e4 Board and Finnish confectionery manufacturer Kouvolan Lakritsi have jointly developed a new, resealable liquorice packaging made from virgin fibre board. The sustainable solution reduces plastic consumption and offers durable, attractive packaging for sales.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mets\u00e4 Board<\/a> and the confectionery manufacturer Kouvolan Lakritsi have launched a new, Recyclable packaging solution for liquorice<\/strong> developed. The packaging is made from virgin fibre cardboard and offers a resealable solution that keeps the product fresh while reducing plastic consumption. The packaging uses a Heat-sealed transparent film that can be removed without leaving any residue<\/strong> and a cardboard lid that protects the liquorice after opening.<\/p>\n

\u201eWe thought long and hard about whether the sales packaging for liquorice could be something other than a plastic bag. The new cup can now even be reused as a coffee cup in addition to the packaging itself and gives the coffee a light liquorice flavour.\u201d<\/p>\n
