At SPS 2024, AMKmotion will be presenting solutions for reducing the total cost of ownership of automation systems. The company will be showcasing further developments such as the decentralised ihD servo inverter and the ihP motion controller, which are designed for modular and flexible use.<\/strong><\/p>\n

AMKmotion<\/a>, developer of electric drive systems, is presenting new drive and control solutions at SPS 2024 in Nuremberg that are designed to reduce total cost of ownership. Under the guiding theme of \u201eTotal Cost of Ownership\u201c, visitors can experience products such as the new ihD servo inverter with single-cable wiring. The ihD enables up to 70 per cent less cabling<\/strong>, by combining power, STO (Safe Torque Off), 24 volts and communication in one cable. According to Alexander Hipp, Director Sales & Customer Solution Centre at AMKmotion, the company is focusing on the \u201efurther development of tried-and-tested components\u201c in order to offer customers the best possible solution. to offer savings potential<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The ihP motion controller offers decentralised power supply and higher performance, which makes the Simple plug-and-play installation of downstream drives<\/strong> is now possible. It has been given a power increase to eight kilowatts continuous load, which also simplifies handling thanks to an integrated hybrid plug. This means that no specialised personnel are required for installation.<\/p>

Another highlight presented by AMKmotion is the LD synchronous servomotor. It is characterised by a High power density and energy efficiency<\/strong> which makes it ideal for applications with dynamic positioning. Its low moment of inertia increases productivity, while its permanent magnet brakes require little maintenance.<\/p>\n

The AMKmotion trade fair programme is rounded off by the AIPEX 5 engineering tool, which web-based and offers simple commissioning as well as analysis and diagnostic tools.<\/strong> offers. It is designed to make applications configurable more quickly and facilitate optimisations using methods such as the Fast Fourier Transformation.<\/p>\n
