Tetra Pak and dairy group Lactalis have developed a package in Spain that contains recycled polymers from used beverage cartons. This innovation represents progress in the circular economy and emphasises both companies' commitment to sustainable packaging solutions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The co-operation of Tetra Pak<\/a> and Lactalis are pursuing the goal of developing more sustainable packaging options and replace fossil materials with recycling solutions<\/strong>. The material used is labelled with the ISCC Plus certificate, which guarantees sustainable origin and compliance with international carbon management standards.<\/p>\n

With the help of the mass balance method, recycled polymers are<\/strong> which are mixed together with new polymers and controlled by an external ISCC Chain of Custody process. The packaging fulfils the high quality and safety standards for food packaging and proves that beverage cartons can be reused in a circular economy.<\/p>

With the launch in Spain under the Puleva brand, Lactalis plans to expand its range of products in recycled packaging to meet growing consumer expectations for environmentally friendly packaging.
