Food Africa and pacprocess MEA 2024 are growing: From 3 to 5 December, the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo will occupy five halls with a total area of 44,000 square metres to meet the high demand from the food and packaging industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The trade fair duo Food Africa<\/a> and pacprocess MEA<\/a> is increasingly establishing itself as the central platform for the food and packaging industry in the MEA region. This year, the organisers are expanding the exhibition space by 4,000 square metres to a total of five halls. About 1,000 exhibitors from 35 countries<\/strong> will present their products and services, including participants from the USA, the Netherlands and Georgia, who are represented for the first time.<\/p>\n

Food Africa offers specialised areas such as \u201eDates Africa\u201c, \u201eFresh Africa\u201c and \u201eSeafood Africa\u201c, which are specifically aimed at trade and innovation in the food industry. In addition, B2B matchmaking programmes and specialist presentations facilitate intensive exchange between companies and experts.<\/p>

At the same time, pacprocess MEA is further expanding its importance. With the largest German pavilion and companies from Slovenia participating for the first time, the Importance of international partnerships<\/strong> emphasised. Well-known representatives of the packaging industry such as Multivac, Theegarten-Pactec and H\u00e4nsel Processing are represented, as are newcomers from the technology sector, including Leistritz Extrusionstechnik.<\/p>\n

The accompanying specialist conferences will address key industry topics. Sustainable packaging solutions, food safety and export strategies are just as much a focus as the promotion of SMEs and women in the packaging industry. The \u201eWomen in Packaging\u201c initiative offers a Platform for exchange<\/strong>. The trade fairs are organised by Messe D\u00fcsseldorf together with the IFP Group and Konzept. Food Africa, part of the interpack alliance, is being held for the ninth time this year, while pacprocess MEA is being held for the fifth time.<\/p>\n
