Schreiner MediPharm has developed a cut-through indicator function that clearly visualises attempts to tamper with closure seals. Thanks to the special design, flexible integration of the security feature is possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tamper evidence is particularly important for pharmaceutical packaging. With the new cut-through indicator function from Schreiner MediPharm any attempt at tampering is made visible by cutting the seals<\/strong> - and can no longer be made unrecognisable. This solution effectively prevents the frequently practised method of tampering with folding cartons by cutting open and re-gluing the seal with transparent adhesive tape.<\/p>\n

The cut-through indicator function is not designed as a standardised label, but as a modular feature that can be individually integrated into existing or newly developed closure seals.<\/strong> The cut-through indicator function is customised to the respective seal and the specific application. The single-layer structure enables flexible and cost-efficient adaptation to different materials and customised designs. The function also fulfils Highest safety requirements for pharmaceutical packaging<\/strong> in accordance with ISO 21976 and the European Falsified Medicines Directive 2011\/62\/EU.<\/p>
