He will be succeeded by Markus Wei\u00df, who will assume the role of managing director and CEO of Koenig &amp; Bauer Sheetfed AG &amp; Co. KG from 1 February 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ralf Sammeck began his career at <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=Koenig+%26+Bauer\">Koenig &amp; Bauer<\/a> in 2000 and took up a position on the company's Executive Board in 2007. During his time in office, he was instrumental in driving forward the strategic development of the segment. This included expanding the product portfolio to include prepress software, postpress machines and digital printing solutions as well as the <strong>Expansion of digital services<\/strong>. Under his leadership, the market share of the Sheetfed segment increased significantly. Dr Andreas Ple\u00dfke, CEO of Koenig &amp; Bauer, emphasised Sammeck's important role in the <strong>Strengthening market leadership in the packaging sector<\/strong> and its close customer focus.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eMarkus Wei\u00df is a strong, international leader who has built up an excellent network over the past almost 20 years and brings enormous experience in our industry.
