Sch\u00fctz has developed a 3-skid steel pallet that optimally distributes heavy loads with its greatly enlarged support surface. Thanks to its special geometry, it is particularly suitable for customers who require stable and robust IBCs in their logistics and production centres.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The IBC steel pallet with additional centre skid has been optimised for a wide range of transport applications. With its smooth and large contact surfaces, it offers ideal gliding properties and is particularly suitable for transport on roller conveyors. Problem-free transport, especially at transitions<\/strong>, was one of the main objectives when developing the new product. However, it is also impressive in high-bay warehouses and exhibits only minimal deflection behaviour even when transporting IBCs with high-density contents.<\/p>\n

As it can be driven under from all sides with industrial trucks, the pallet enables convenient handling during loading. The lowered drive-over threshold facilitates side entry with forklift trucks or hand pallet trucks. Furthermore the pallet is nestable and can therefore be stacked with reduced volume<\/strong>. Compared to wooden pallets, it impresses with maximum cleanliness, abrasion resistance and durability. Due to its frequent reusability, it is also the much more favourable alternative in terms of the circular economy.<\/p>

The reason for their robustness and optimum conveying properties lies in the special geometry of the 3-skid steel pallet, which makes them particularly stable and powerful. So their embossed steel runners with ribbed design ensure high resistance to deformation<\/strong>. An additional centre skid increases the contact surface by 900 percent compared to a conventional steel skid pallet. This significantly reduces the ground pressure per square centimetre and the load is optimally distributed. As a result, even heavy transport masses and high-density goods can be moved safely and reliably.<\/p>\n
