Actega offers TPE materials that are suitable for food contact applications and other sensitive market areas. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>TPE materials, which have been used for a long time in food contact, but also in many other areas such as consumer goods, medicine, pharmaceuticals and many other industries, are \u201eby nature\u201c <strong>plasticiser-free and therefore also bisphenol A (BPA)-free<\/strong>. <span class=\"p_ si29 span\"><span class=\"span\" data-lines=\"4\" data-truncate=\"0\"> Thermoplastic elastomers <\/span><\/span>(TPE) are food-safe and, due to their processing technology, resource-saving and energy-saving, and have been in use in food contact for almost 50 years.<\/p>\n<p>Actega is considered one of the pioneers. ISCC Plus (International Sustainability &amp; Carbon Certification), a recognised system for mass balance certification, complies with the European Commission's \u201eRenewable Energy Directive RED\u201c. <strong>The proportion of bio-based raw material is allocated to the finished products by calculation.<\/strong> This systematically reduces the use of fossil raw materials and promotes the use of bio-based and circular raw materials.<\/p>\n<p>The goal is, <strong>ensure the traceability of raw materials along the entire value chain<\/strong>, This includes proof of origin for raw materials and materials, as well as the fact that all companies along the value chain must be ISCC Plus certified. Used as a drop-in solution to conventional TPEs, customers receive a product that is <strong>is chemically identical to your existing product<\/strong>.
