To mark the occasion, the company is inviting customers and partners to open house events in May to present innovations in packaging machine construction.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since its foundation in 1955, Hugo Beck has developed into a leading specialist for horizontal packaging technologies. The company offers flowpack, pouch and shrink packaging solutions as well as paper packaging technologies for a wide range of industries, including e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, medical technology and food.<\/p>\n

Open house events with live demos and specialist presentations<\/h4>\n

To celebrate its 70th anniversary, Hugo Beck is organising two open house events at the company site in Dettingen\/Erms:<\/p>

  • 7\/8 May 2025<\/li>\n
  • 14\/15 May 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Visitors can look forward to live demonstrations of the entire machine portfolio as well as guided tours of the production facilities. Experts will be on hand to answer questions about sustainable packaging solutions.<\/p>\n

    One highlight of the events is the cooperation with the Sustainable Packaging Institute (SPI) at Albstadt-Sigmaringen University of Applied Sciences<\/strong>. The specialised lectures deal with:<\/p>\n

    • Current trends in sustainable packaging technology<\/li>\n
    • Regulatory developments, including the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR)<\/li>\n
    • The EU Green Claims Directive and its impact on companies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
