This question was the focus of the discussion with Thomas Lux, Managing Director of the Centre for Food and Packaging Technology (ZLV) in Kempten. The experienced packaging expert has headed the institution since July 2023 - with a clear focus on practical solutions.<\/p>\n

In the video, Lux sheds light on the challenges of multilayer-based packaging solutions: They are often ideal for protecting sensitive food, but are considered difficult to recycle. Lux explains what developments are currently available to make these systems more recyclable - for example, through single-origin barrier layers or innovative separation processes.<\/p>\n
