Marcel Kiessling from the management board introduced the new three-pillar concept, which represents the Crailsheim-based packaging machine manufacturer's response to changing market requirements.<\/p>\n<h3>Three product ranges for every need<\/h3>\n<p>The new strategy is divided into three areas: TLM (Top Loading Machines) for integrated special lines, Lightline for standard machines, and TOG (Together) for mobile manufacturing cells. \u201eWith the three product lines, we want to have the right solution for every application,\u201c explained Kiessling.<\/p>\n<p>While TLM covers the well-known Schubert range of custom solutions, Lightline is aimed at simpler tasks with shorter delivery times and more attractive price points. The challenges are diverse: smaller batch sizes, frequent product launches, constant format changes and the need to operate machines economically for over 20 years. \u201eThe consumer goods market does not remain stable for 20 years, so I must be able to adapt the machine.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Despite the new strategy, modularity remains the core element. \u201eWe use standard units such as pick-and-place robots and conveyor technology across the board,\u201c says Kiessling.
