Thimm: first e-commerce startup for cardboard boxes
On its new e-commerce platform www.kartonara.de, the family-run company Thimm offers standardised corrugated cardboard packaging and accessories for the distribution of goods. The online shop opened in March for commercial and private customers.

On its new e-commerce platform http://www.kartonara.de the family-run company Thimm offers standardised corrugated cardboard packaging and accessories for the distribution of goods. The online shop opened in March for commercial and private customers.
In addition to standardised cartons, folding boxes and shipping packaging made of corrugated cardboard, the range also includes moving materials and accessories such as sealing materials, padding and filling materials. There are plans to expand the range to include small load carriers, innovative packaging for e-commerce and customised boxes. Online customers receive their orders directly from the warehouse, meaning that they are usually delivered the very next day.
[infotext icon] As a 100 per cent integrated company, the Cartonara GmbH + Co KG a new company of the Thimm Group. German online sales will be organised under the brand Cardboard macaw. Based in Northeim, the start-up was founded at the end of 2017. Kornelius Thimm and Michael Weber were appointed as managing directors[/infotext].
