Constantia Aluprint is investing around 315,000 US dollars in the modernisation of its production facility in Mexico. The aim of the measures is to make processes more efficient, precise and reliable, thereby improving the quality and sustainability of production.
With an investment of 315,000 US dollars, Constantia Aluprint is focusing on targeted modernisation at its Mexican site in order to further optimise production processes. According to the company, several areas of the plant have been technically upgraded, including new machines, improved analysis stations and expanded production areas.
In the area of gravure printing production a new Dimatra cutter installed, which replaces older machines and enables faster and more precise processing. This not only helps to improve product quality, but also reduces bottlenecks by relieving other systems.
The quality assurance laboratory was also expanded and reorganised to enable more efficient test procedures with modernised measuring instruments. The aim is to carry out inspections faster and more reliably and thus maintain high product standards in the long term.
Improved processes and more sustainability
Another key element of the investment is the new ASPO modules, which enable the production teams to analyse machine problems directly on site and initiate immediate countermeasures. This reduces downtime and improves process stability, according to the company.
The bale area in the flexographic printing department was also expanded. According to Constantia Aluprint, this will not only enable the company to handle higher production volumes, but also make waste management more efficient and environmentally friendly.
