The future. Newly packaged.
Tetra Pak at drinktec 2025, from 15-19 September in Munich.
What is driving the global beverage and liquid food industry? How can the consumer thirst for sustainable products be satisfied? Which innovations are leading to energy-efficient processing solutions, networked production systems and sustainable packaging concepts? Looking at the big picture is crucial. This is exactly where Tetra Pak comes in - and this is why the global market leader is back at drinktec in Munich in September.
Hardly any other market thrives on innovation as much as the beverage market. This is about much more than just flavour. Purchasing behaviour is increasingly dependent on the way the beverage is produced and packaged. Politicians are also putting pressure on manufacturers to take a more sustainable approach to production and reduce the consumption of energy and resources. As the „global economic summit“ for the beverage and liquid food industry, drinktec brings the industry together in Munich for five days every four years. Solution providers and suppliers from all over the world meet national and global producers of beverages and liquid food. Manufacturers of raw materials and ingredients, suppliers of process technology and machinery for the filling and packaging of beer, soft drinks, AfG products, water, fruit juice, plant-based drinks, milk and liquid dairy products, wine, sparkling wine and spirits as well as ketchup, soya sauce, cooking oil and other liquid food products will be represented.
The industry needs answers. And Tetra Pak offers solutions.
This year, in addition to the classic exhibition topics, forward-looking developments will take centre stage at the trade fair. One focus will be on Networking of research, industry and consumer needs be. Health and new consumer trends, including the development of plant-based beverages and innovative production processes, digital value creation with artificial intelligence and data-driven processes in the beverage industry will be highlighted, as will environmentally friendly production methods for improved sustainability, resource conservation and the circular economy. In filling and packaging technology in particular, the trade fair offers a wide range of solutions - from simple systems to high-tech plants.

Where efficiency and innovation meet.
In Hall 6 at stand 359 trade fair visitors can immerse themselves in the world of Tetra Pak. They can expect the latest solutions and innovations in the areas of packaging, processing and services. Tetra Pak experts will show how innovations and modular solution concepts can create real added value along the entire value chain - from sustainable packaging and energy-optimised processing lines to smart services that reduce costs in the short and long term.
This is how the integrated production lines from Tetra Pak new standards in food and beverage production. With their combination of processing systems, filling machines and downstream technology, they simplify the production process for a wide range of food and beverages. Regardless of whether dairy or plant-based products, juices or viscous products, aseptic or non-aseptic, are produced: Product quality is consistently high with low operating costs and maximum efficiency.
At drinktec, Tetra Pak will also present exciting solutions for a global mega-trend, the Thirst for plant-based products. The market for plant-based beverages is expected to continue to grow significantly over the next few years, both in terms of sales and product diversity. Together with food manufacturers, Tetra Pak® develops new nutritional solutions, from the idea to the recipe, production and logistics. Tetra Pak® works together with future and new food manufacturers as well as with traditional manufacturers who are breaking new ground - worldwide. The company's most recent example of success is the upcycling of spent grains, a residue from the brewing process. It is usually malted barley, rich in fibre and protein, but with very little sugar. As spent grains spoil very quickly, around 40 million tonnes are used as animal feed or disposed of in landfill every year. Tetra Pak® has found a way to utilise this waste product in the food industry - and to develop healthy, tasty protein drinks through smart upcycling.
In addition to processing and packaging, there will also be exciting things to experience about Tetra Pak's third important core area: digital and AI-supported innovations in the area of service. One key to success is „Asset Health Monitoring“, a real-time monitoring of production equipment - directly on site or from the other side of the world. Manufacturers receive precise data on the performance and condition of their systems. This means they know today where there could be challenges tomorrow and can take the right measures at an early stage with the insights gained and 24-hour support from Tetra Pak.
