Bluhm Systeme GmbH will be showcasing numerous innovations in the field of coding and marking technology at interpack 2017 and will be giving a live tour of its development centre.
The new label dispenser Alpha HSM can be assembled from 65 modules and adapts flexibly Cramped production conditions on. With a cycle rate of up to 33 labels per second (2,000 labels per minute), the label dispenser ranks in the high-speed segment. The dispenser achieves IP65 protection and therefore does not need to be enclosed when used in damp or dusty environments.
New Geset 314 ZDT labelling system
Equal four Alpha HSM label dispensers sit in the labelling system Law 314 ZDT (Zero Downtime). After the system was first presented at Fachpack 2016, it was completely redesigned and is now even more efficient. The label rolls can be reloaded during operation. Alternatively, two of the labellers can also be used for the additional application of marketing labels. At the end of the labelling process, a vision system checks the presence and position of the label. In order to avoid incorrect labelling, the new Geset 314 ZDT has a Digital display with connection to the customer's own PLC. Only when all labelling parameters (e.g. height, width and angle) have been set correctly does the PLC give the „green light“ for the labelling process. Automatic parameter setting at the touch of a button is also planned.
Markoprint, the Bluhm division for thermal inkjet printers, will be exhibiting an intelligent system for thermal inkjet printing for the first time in Düsseldorf. Centralised ink supply for quick-drying inks. This storage system is particularly suitable for applications with high ink consumption, such as thermoforming systems. Thanks to a tank capacity of 400 ml, frequent ink tank changes are no longer necessary.
Labelling systems controlled in real time
About the Bluhmware cockpit software trade fair visitors can control three different labelling systems simultaneously in real time. Several printing systems (thermal inkjet printers, continuous inkjet printers and Zebra label printers) were set up in the Bluhm development centre for this purpose. Using a webcam, visitors can observe how their previously entered, customised layouts are printed.
