The Nuremberg Exhibition Centre will once again be the meeting place for the European packaging world. Until 25 September, 1,387 exhibitors will be showcasing their innovations. Around 38,000 visitors from the consumer and industrial goods industry are expected to attend.
The Fachpack main theme „Transition In Packaging“ describes the current strong currents affecting the European packaging industry and focuses on key topics for the future: High expectations in terms of sustainability, new packaging regulations, digital transformation and artificial intelligence dominate the discussions and innovations in the industry. The trade fair sees itself as a signpost and offers exchange and orientation.
„At Fachpack, we not only show exciting new products, but also discuss concrete answers to the most pressing questions. There is so much commitment, solution-orientation and forward thinking in the packaging industry. This impetus makes it a strong, resilient and sustainable part of the economy. Trade visitors can now experience this innovative power live over three days of the trade fair.“
Phuong Anh Do, Director Fachpack at NürnbergMesse
The main theme is reflected in the exhibitors' stands, the extensive lecture programme, the exciting special shows and theme pavilions as well as the award ceremonies. Fachpack offers a compact, but at the same time comprehensive overview of the entire process chain for packaging solutions for industrial and consumer goods. In eleven exhibition halls, 1,387 exhibitors will be presenting their innovations - 48 per cent of which are coming from abroad. Companies from Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, Greece, the Czech Republic, France and Turkey are particularly well represented.
The trade fair is once again divided into two central areas. Around 59 per cent of the exhibitors are in the packaging sector, i.e. packaging materials, packaging materials and packaging aids. 41 per cent represent the packaging technology sector, i.e. packaging machines, labelling technology and automation. In addition, the topics of packaging printing and finishing as well as internal logistics are also represented - and thus emphasise the Holistic orientation of the event.
