The winners of this year's Corrugated Board Austria Awards have been announced. Winners and nominees can now also submit their packaging to the Worldstars, the most important international packaging award.
For the eleventh time, the Forum Wellpappe Austria honoured the innovative strength of an industry that proves this: Corrugated board can protect, surprise, sell and even play. Over 41 submissions were entered into the race for the coveted Wellpappe Austria Awards 2025. After a thorough review, the independent expert jury nominated 18 innovations and selected the seven winners.
The awards were presented in the categories creative, constructive, point of sale, displays, sustainable and young talent, supplemented by a special prize for outstanding print design.
„Every year, our corrugated board champions show anew how versatile and sustainable our packaging concepts are. Corrugated board packaging can be customised to the product and avoids empty space. This saves space in the supply chain, reliably protects the goods and can therefore help to reduce CO₂ emissions. From lightweight shipping packaging to sustainable displays: corrugated board combines design, functionality and environmental awareness in a unique way.“
