Beiersdorf is launching Nivea Creme Natural Touch, the first additional variant to the classic cream in the blue tin. The new formula consists of ingredients of natural origin and the iconic tin is made from 95% recycled aluminium.

With the new product, Beiersdorf wants to fulfil the growing demand for more sustainable skin care. The classic Nivea Creme will remain available. In 2024 alone, Beiersdorf sold four iconic blue Nivea Creme cans per second worldwide.

„Our aim was to create a more sustainable version of our iconic Nivea Creme. But Nivea Creme Natural Touch is more than just an extension of the range; it underlines our commitment to innovation and responsibility as part of our Net Zero 2045 strategy.“

Performance meets responsibility

Beiersdorf is committed to sustainability and reducing its environmental footprint as part of its Climate Care strategy. The new skincare product is now vegan and 99.9% biodegradable, and the iconic can is made from 95% recycled aluminium. The official launch will take place in January 2026 in Germany - where the history of Nivea Creme began over 100 years ago.
