Böwe Systec GmbH from Augsburg is showcasing a new type of serialisation solution for the pharmaceutical industry at Achema 2018. According to the company, the modular stand-alone solution meets the requirements of the EU Falsified Medicines Directive, which comes into force on 2 February 2019.
The new Serialisation system from Böwe Systec reliably processes many outer packaging sizes. Packaging in a size range from 25 x 25 x 40 millimetres to 250 x 250 x 400 millimetres is possible. The processing speed is individually adjustable.
All the necessary functions are provided. On boxes that have not yet been printed Data matrix codes printed and serialised. Printed outer packaging is verified. Automatic Decommissioning is possible. Upon delivery, a full inspection is carried out in the form of a Target/actual comparison offered. The inspection of the print quality and the Sampling by hand scanner is also available.
Software interface is offered in three expansion stages
Product handling, Coding and the Camera inspection tasks are made from only one Software interface which can also be adapted to third-party systems. The software is individually available in three expansion stages: for the machine level, the location level and even across locations.
Böwe Systec will also be presenting the product range of its new co-operation partner at its stand Argus Sensor Systems. This offers a low-cost basic solution for serialisation and a tamper-evident system.
