Longer shelf life

The innovative method creates a Natural vacuum in the packaging. This means that the chilled Ready Meals achieve a long shelf life without the use of preservatives. Shelf life of up to 60 days, According to the company, this is an increase compared to the usual shelf life of around 5 days in this segment. The freshness and flavour of the dishes are retained. The significant extension of the best-before date reduces food spoilage and therefore food waste in retail and in households.

„Consumer studies in the UK have shown that consumers would throw away less food if they could buy high-quality products that have been produced naturally and still have a longer best-before date,“ explains Michael Bogdanski.
