The TF1 inductive displacement transducers from Novotechnik in Ostfildern are predestined for fast positioning tasks. The non-magnetic position transducers are used in linear drives and packaging machines, among other applications.
The Position sensor TF1 is available in standard lengths from 100 to 1,000 millimetres. The update rate of the measuring system reaches ten kilohertz, which corresponds to a time delay of just 0.2 milliseconds between the actual position and the corresponding measured value. The sensor has a resolution of up to one micrometre. The measurement signal is transmitted as an analogue current/voltage signal or digitally via the SSI interface are made available. Communication interfaces are also provided in accordance with CANopen-standard and IO-Link.
Position sensors for mobile hydraulics and mechanical engineering
In addition to this displacement transducer, Novotechnik will also be exhibiting at SPS IPC Drives 2018 Position sensors for mobile hydraulics and mechanical engineering as well as the magnetic, two-part RFD-4000 angle sensors for rotary and linear measurements. These are suitable for a wide range of applications. The measuring angle is up to 360 degrees with a resolution of 12 bits.

Novotechnik was founded in 1947. The company is headquartered in Ostfildern, Swabia. Since then, the company has been working on the further development of measurement technology. More than 200 people are employed in Germany alone. The result is displacement and angle sensors that are used worldwide in production, control and measurement technology or even in automobiles. The product range includes displacement and angle sensors with different functional principles, special solutions for the automotive sector as well as transducers and measuring devices.
