Fernwald-based Rovema GmbH will be presenting its solutions for packaging confectionery at FachPack 2019. On show will be the BVC 260 Flexible continuous flow-wrapping machine, which recently won an award from US brand manufacturer Hershey.
This machine series offers maximum Flexibility in bag design for bag widths of up to 400 millimetres and is suitable for the production of Doypack-like bags. RoPack bag with longitudinal zip suitable. Also flat bags, gusseted bags and four-sided sealed edge bags With and without zip fastener can be produced.
The machine was developed with the aim of producing a Doypack-like pouch on a vertical packaging machine that is as visually appealing as a comparable horizontally produced pouch, but has all of the advantages of a horizontal pouch. Advantages of vertical packaging offers: e.g. lower operating costs, greater flexibility, smaller footprint, faster format changeover times and the option of product gassing.
The continuously operating machine is Highest output designed, whereby even at high speeds they have a Product recognition whose sensitive electronics recognise even small product parts in the sealing seam.
Fast and compact
In addition to the all-rounder BVC Flexible a specialist is also shown: The Rovema BVC 145TwinTube impresses as the fastest twin with an output of up to 500 flat bags per minute.
Thanks to the ROVEMA double pipe technology allows the packaging of confectionery and snacks in the smallest of spaces.

The continuous BVC 145 TwinTube is also equipped with the proven product detection system. With up to 250 bags per minute per lane faulty bags are ejected and fed downwards out of the flow-wrapping machine. Product scanning is completely independent for both lanes. If product is ejected from lane one, lane two can continue production without any restrictions.
One Fully automatic web edge control for both webs enables a reproducible format change. Separate drive controls for the film webs guarantee Exact bag lengths. The packaging material is fed via a common film roll, which is divided into two film webs during the packaging process. Optionally, the use of two separate film rolls possible.
The Sealing force for the two transverse sealing tools is individually adjustable, so that a variety of packaging materials can be sealed with best seam quality be processed.
