“The plastics industry is on the cusp of one of the most fundamental changes it has ever experienced. Packaging accounts for almost 40 % of global plastic consumption. This results in a major challenge that we have to face. We need innovative machines and solutions that represent a new vision for the future of the industry. We need to tackle this challenge quickly and in co-operation with industry partners. We believe that our announcements at K 2019 herald a turning point in the industry in which BOBST will play an important role.”
