The EDEKA Group has further expanded its range of sustainable private labels: With the Respekt brand, environmentally friendly detergents, cleaning agents and cleaning products are now also available as a private label.

EDEKA thus corresponds to a growing demand. Because when it comes to detergents in particular, many customers want more environmentally friendly products with the washing and cleaning performance remaining as unchanged as possible. The new private label is available in many EDEKA stores and all Netto Marken-Discount and Budni branches.

Heavy-duty detergents, cleaners & co. from Respekt are made from environmentally friendly Formulations with plant-based surfactants. You are connected to the „EU Ecolabel“ and partly also „Blue Angel“ certified. In future, products bearing both environmental seals will also be labelled with the WWF Panda labelled. This indicates an environmentally friendly EDEKA product.

Expanding the range of sustainable products, especially in the private label segment, has been a goal of the EDEKA Group for years. This is based on the desire to ecological footprint significantly. The WWF has been providing advice and support in this area for over ten years as part of a Strategic partnership for sustainability. Since 2015, the focus has also been on packaging, including improving recyclability and the use of recycled materials.
