Omron Corporation introduces the new LD-250 mobile robot, the most powerful and newest member of the company's LD series of mobile robots with a payload capacity of 250 kilograms. In combination with the Fleet Manager, which for the first time in the industry enables the control of multiple mobile robots with different payloads via a single system, the LD-250 contributes to more flexible and optimised autonomous material handling.

Doubled loading area and autonomous material transport

To optimise autonomous material transport, customers can use the industry's first Fleet Manager from Omron, which can be used to control up to 100 mobile Omron robots with different payloads and functions. The Fleet Manager takes over the tasks of traffic and battery management as well as order management. The LD-250 robot can recognise people and obstacles independently and automatically calculates the optimum collision-free path.
