Allvac has developed a barrier film for thermoforming applications that can be fully recycled. The new film, which is produced as a top and bottom film, has now been certified by the cyclos-HTP institute in the highest category AAA.
The desired barrier properties are comparable to those of classic PA/PE films, as are their machinability, transparency and sealing properties.
The new development is intended to increased demand for environmentally friendly alternatives make an appropriate offer. The development of the film was spearheaded by the company's own laboratory and application technology centre.

The document proves that the film also new products after use can be produced. With this new development, Allvac is making a contribution to the realisation of the circular economy as described in the German Packaging Act is required.
