Barrier coatings offer effective protection
Depending on the product, Actega barrier coatings offer effective protection against water vapour, water, oil and grease. They also offer barrier effects against alcohol, alkaline and acidic liquids and dairy products. Furthermore, the new water-based TPE dispersions enable a combination of these different properties in a single dispersion - for example specific barrier properties, haptic effects (e.g. smooth, soft, silky, rough), heat sealability in the high and low temperature range and certified recyclability. The compounding of TPE components means that Actega is able to set variable properties and create customised solutions that are tailored to the customer's needs and compatible with various substrates from paper to aluminium.
