The Norwegian wood producer Moelven presents a Trioworld loop packaging solution that consists of 50 per cent recycled materials (PCR). The material retains the same quality and film thickness. This enables the company to reduce waste and CO2-reduce production.
If the wood is not protected or transport safety is jeopardised, the benefits of sustainable packaging are nullified. The loop solution was especially for the forestry and timber industry and ensures the protection of products from the elements and the safety of people and goods during handling and transport.
„Our goal is to, to become more sustainable than we are today, and using packaging that consists of 50 per cent recycled plastic and still meets our quality requirements is a big step in the right direction,“ says Rune F. Andersen, Sustainability Director at Moelven.
No compromises despite PCR content
