Avery Dennison has launched a new certified portfolio of vegan labels, the no ingredients of animal origin another market first. In addition, every item in the portfolio has been produced without animal testing or the use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) of animal origin. For this reason, the Collection receives approval from Eve Vegan, an independent organisation set up by Vegan France and is committed to promoting vegan alternatives in various industries, including food and medicine.
Expansion of the product range
At the time of launch, the collection comprises six paper face materials, three adhesives and two liners, which can be combined according to customer requirements. Each article offers a Similar performance level to non-vegan alternatives, both in processing and application. Based on the needs of processors and end users, there are plans to expand the range with new paper face materials.
"Veganism goes beyond nutrition. It's a philosophy and way of life that focuses on avoiding the exploitation of animals for food, clothing and anything else you can think of. Of course, this also applies to the world of packaging, and we're excited to help brand owners take their commitment to cruelty-free to the next level with these innovative labels developed by our research and development team.“
