DTM Print offers its customers a selection of tested label materials and is now introducing a new material, DTM DryToner Paper Semi Gloss Colour Coated. Made from FSC-certified paper, the new material is suitable for metal, cardboard and most plastics.
The new labelling material is a machine-coated, wood-free printing paper with a semi-gloss surface, which is abrasion and water resistant. The material is also suitable for printing with electrographic dry toner label printers, such as the DTM CX86e Colour Tag Printer.
Uniform colour scheme
Especially for Product groups that only include slightly modified product versions, The new material is also suitable for labelling food supplements, for example. For these applications, the labels are usually designed in a uniform colour scheme in line with the company or product identity. However, these layouts then differ slightly in terms of Product information, logos, names or other design elements. The label surface can be pre-printed in all CMYK colours over the entire surface. Colour gradients such as rainbows or patterns in colour blocking style are also possible.
By using the pre-printed coloured paper material, manufacturers and producers obtain full-colour labels. The saves toner and costs for each printed label and Enables borderless labels. The DTM LF140e Label Finisher is the ideal device for further processing of the labels, which can laminate, cut, remove the matrix and cut and wind the finished labels into rolls if required.
