Just in time for spring cleaning, Pril is being launched on the market in new packaging and with a new formula. With the cold-active formula, grease and starch can be removed even with cold water and the bottle body is made from 100 per cent recycled plastic - 50 per cent of which comes from the Yellow Bag.
Consumers are increasingly focussing on their own ecological footprint, and this is leading to a Demand for sustainable packaging concepts and resource-saving products along with it. With the new cold-active formula and new packaging Pril contributes to greater sustainability, as cleaning is also possible with cold water.
With a rinse water temperature of 25 degrees, consumers can use at least Save 50 per cent energy compared to a temperature of 45 degrees. This has a significant impact on our ecological footprint, as around 80 per cent of energy is consumed during the dishwashing process.
Plastic from the Yellow Bag
The new packaging also contributes to sustainable washing up: The bottle body has been made entirely from recycled plastic since 2019. From now on 50 per cent recycled plastic from the Yellow Bag collection. The Yellow Bag is becoming increasingly important as a source of raw materials for more sustainable packaging concepts and supports the goal of a genuine circular economy. All Pril products produced at the Düsseldorf site utilise the material from the Yellow Bag.
The new Pril Kraft Gel with cold-active formula will be available in stores across Germany from 1 April 2022.
