IFFA 2022 brings supply and demand together

When the doors of IFFA open on 14 May 2022, the industry's decision-makers will come together in Frankfurt am Main to showcase innovations, gather information and network.

Thanks to its three-year cycle, the IFFA was neither postponed nor cancelled in the pandemic years, but according to those responsible, there is still a huge need for personal exchange.

When the doors open for six days on 14 May 2022, decision-makers from the industry will come together in Frankfurt am Main to showcase innovations, gather information and network. For the first time finds the IFFA also with digital supplementation instead of and thus opens up new potential.

Around 900 exhibiting companies from over 40 countries want to the entire range of its new and further developments from process technology for the processing and packaging of meat and alternative protein products, ingredients and ingredients for modern foods as well as innovations for sale. All the well-known players will be spread across exhibition halls 8, 9, 11 and 12.

The focus will be on automation, digitalisation, food safety, sustainability, food trends and individualisation. The traditionally high internationality of the IFFA is also guaranteed this year despite the current political restrictions: Over 60 per cent of the registered companies come from abroad. In addition to German companies, exhibitors from Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and Poland will be well represented.
