„I'm looking forward to taking over the distribution of Bito in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Projects in Northern Ireland will be handled by our colleagues in Great Britain so that customers can benefit from fast delivery from their warehouses. Bito is establishing its subsidiary in Ireland at a very interesting time for the market. Retail chains and manufacturers are expanding their warehouses in Ireland. There is also a lot of interest from companies outside the EU, particularly from the USA, who want to establish their European headquarters here. On the one hand, so that they have easy access to the EU single market and, on the other, because they benefit from the fact that English is spoken there.“
Alan Friel has over 20 years of industry experience and is Solution Design Manager of the new subsidiary, which is launching with a range of innovative storage, picking and transport solutions for companies in the retail, production and logistics sectors.
The company has already been awarded a number of project contracts in Ireland, including an order worth around EUR 900,000 for Plastic containers for use in an automated system of a large Irish food retailer, which is scheduled to go into operation at the end of 2022.
