This year, Schütz's Fachpack presentation will focus on the topics of resource conservation, efficiency and safety. Visitors will learn all about the ecological Green Layer product series and the advantages of the Ecobulk MX 560 for smaller filling quantities. Schütz will also be presenting the Ecobulk SX-D, the first combination IBC with FM Global approval.
Safe packaging of hazardous goods such as flammable or highly flammable liquids: Schütz has developed the new Ecobulk SX-D for this complex task, among others. The quality seal of the FM Global Group has the performance of the IBC as secure packaging for sensitive goods already emphasised.
The Ecobulk SX-D fulfils high safety standards thanks to its special design, among other things. For example, it has a closed, fireproof casing as an extension of the classic mesh basket. This casing is Welded to the integrated drip tray to create a sealed container around the inner bladder of the container. The double-wall design serves as effective additional leakage protection, preventing sensitive liquids from escaping into the environment even in extreme situations, for example in the event of a fire with extremely high temperatures.

Flexible solution for handling smaller filling quantities
Another highlight is the presentation of Contactor with the Ecobulk MX 560, a true all-rounder for smaller filling volumes. The IBC has a nominal volume of 560 litres and was developed on the basis of the globally successful 1,200 x 1,000 millimetre pallet. The container impresses with its particularly flat shape, which enables ideal utilisation of storage and transport space.
The Ecobulk MX 560 also demonstrates its strengths with mixed loads, as the IBC is is fully compatible with all other MX-IBC variants from Schütz due to its pallet size. Its low weight makes it easy to handle in daily use. If required, the Ecobulk MX 560 can also be equipped with an EVOH permeation barrier, which protects the filling product from changes and the environment from environmental pollution.
Conserve resources with the Green Layer series
Furthermore Contactor IBCs and drums from the Green Layer product series. The packaging specialist is thus helping its customers to minimise their CO2-footprint and thus make an important contribution to achieving global and national climate targets. Schütz uses modern 3- or 6-layer extrusion blow moulding systems to produce high quality, Natural-coloured recycled material with a 30 percent share in the production of IBC inner containers and drum bodies in. The recyclate flows completely into the centre layer so that the filling product and the packaging environment only come into direct contact with virgin material.
