The latest news, innovations and trade fair gossip will be available on our website and on LinkedIn on all three days of the fair. The packaging journal editorial team works directly from Nuremberg. And we are also out and about with the camera: every day there is a fresh edition of packaging journal TV.
Live panel in the TECHBOX
In the Fachpack supporting programme, we will be addressing the most important future topic in the industry. Under the title „Digitalisation in packaging - Time to move!“ we are presenting a panel of high-calibre experts. Thus Jan-Oliver Sestak, packaging expert at Roland Berger, will talk about trends and future topics in the industry. The role that uniform standards play in digitalisation will be highlighted by Thomas Dasbach, OPC expert at the VDMA. And concrete digital solutions Lukas Stark from Multivac to the visitors.
The event will take place on 28 September from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on the TECHBOX stage in Hall 3C. It will also be organised as packaging journal TV LIVE streamed via all our channels.
Discussion round for the final
Afterwards, packaging journal editor-in-chief Jan Malte Andresen invites you to the Fachpack Wrap Up - also on the TECHBOX stage. Together with trade fair boss Phillip Blass we take stock. What insights did the trade fair provide and what challenges do we now face? The other participants will also be able to contribute many interesting ideas. Among others, the Managing Director of the German Packaging Institute, Winfried Batzke, and Richard Clemens from the VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association.
This talk round will also be streamed LIVE on packaging journal TV. It will start at 1.30 pm and last a good hour.
German Packaging Award
And because we don't want to miss out on the celebrations, we are looking forward to the German Packaging Award ceremony. On the very first day of the fair, the jury will reveal the secret of the gold winners. You can also meet us here, as packaging journal will be giving the laudatory speech for one of the award winners.
