Sustainability Days 2022: Industry meets virtually

At the third virtual Sustainability Days 2022 conference, Henkel brought together 1,500 participants from the global packaging and consumer goods industry to discuss the industry's responses to urgent sustainability challenges.

At the third virtual Sustainability Days 2022 conference, Henkel brought together 1,500 participants from 650 companies in the global packaging and consumer goods industry to discuss the industry's responses to urgent sustainability challenges.

Experts from Henkel and companies such as Amcor, Covestro, Equanimator, Touch Design and CJ Korea spoke about topics such as the circular economy, reducing the environmental footprint of products and packaging and new regulatory challenges.

The Sustainability Days programme provided an opportunity for consumer goods companies and suppliers to learn about the latest developments and engage with thought leaders and industry experts.“

The Sustainability Days 2022 covered various main topic areas, including circularity, which looked at areas such as material sourcing and better packaging design. It also looked at the impact of upstream and downstream processes and how to engage suppliers in responsible sourcing. And finally Sustainability strategies, financing the transition and the automation of e-commerce packaging discussed.

The comprehensive programme included presentations streamed from Düsseldorf, Shanghai and Stamford, USA, to cover a wide range of topics from a global and regional perspective.
