At this year's LogiMAT, technology company Zetes will be showcasing solutions for a fully networked and collaborative supply chain. The solutions enable companies to improve the resilience and agility of their supply chains. The company has solutions for seamless traceability specifically for the packaging industry.
Under the motto „Energise your Supply Chain“, trade fair visitors will learn how they can improve the resilience and agility of their supply chains through digitalisation, process optimisation and collaborative automation can. This shows Zetes live demos of its logistics execution solution ZetesMedea for the optimisation of warehouse processes including voice picking and replenishment control and the RFID/ImageID gate for a Camera-based pallet inspection of incoming and outgoing goods. In addition, the ZetesAtlas Packaging Execution System (PES) for serialisation and seamless traceability of products in combination with the MD 6000 high-performance applicator for labelling pallets and the ZetesChronos electronic proof-of-delivery solution for the flexible design of the delivery process - from the first to the last mile - will also be on display.
„Staff shortages in warehousing, transport and logistics as well as a lack of transparency and traceability affect the performance of the supply chain. Environmental concerns and goals resulting from the desire for greater sustainability also have an impact. The digital transformation of the supply chain offers opportunities and a clear competitive advantage. At LogiMAT 2023, we want to meet companies where they are right now and use our solutions to show them how we can support them in their implementation.“

Transparency along the value chain
ZetesAtlas helps manufacturers to manage, secure and improve their packaging identification process. The solution guarantees the best possible Serialisation and aggregation of products. It monitors PES components along the packaging line, such as printers, drives and cameras, and ensures better transparency across the production lines. ZetesAtlas enables a Seamless product traceability. This ensures compliance with current and future regulations, including the Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD), the Unique Device Identification (UDI) Directive and the Tobacco Products Directive (TPD). The PES can be Integrate into existing packaging lines and systems such as ERP, MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and WMS.
ZetesMedea ensures optimum order fulfilment: employees complete their tasks faster and are guided safely through the processes. This results in fewer errors in warehouse processes, from goods receipt to goods issue. In addition, workloads can be managed more effectively, including during peak times. Various technologies such as pick-by-voice, pick-by-vision, scanning, ImageID, RFID and AMR (autonomous mobile robots) are utilised.
The RFID/ImageID solution is available as an optional module of the Logistics Execution solution ZetesMedea. goods receipt and dispatch control or full pallet inventory in real time can be checked. RFID technology makes it possible to check the completeness and 100 per cent correctness of the products down to item level. Using ImageID, an image-based technology, images of each pallet, each roll container and each crate can be taken automatically during the respective process. The visual proof documents that consignments have been loaded in the correct condition and ensures that the goods are always in the right condition. Automatic data capture for a reduction in complaints (dispatch), faster goods receipt processing and stocktaking as well as end-to-end visibility and traceability through to the documentation of the transfer of risk.
Keep an eye on goods movements with Track & Trace
The proof-of-delivery software ZetesChronos was developed for the Control of all delivery and collection processes developed and offers complete transparency by means of Track & Trace about goods movements and driver deployments in real time. Drivers are guided precisely through the process and all events during loading, delivery and collection are registered. Details of tours, stops, any registered incidents, deliveries and collections, including transport containers or empties, can be called up at any time. The back office, dispatch team, customer service staff and management are given a complete overview and can reschedule unscheduled deliveries or collections and react efficiently in the event of malfunctions.
The cloud-based supply chain visibility software supports the Collaboration between all parties within the supply chain based on a harmonised, central data source in real time. By connecting data from isolated systems in the supply chain network, companies gain Transparent insights into all critical supply chain events, that affect supplier processes and order logistics. These include order deviations, changes in the dwell and transport times of products and all incidents in incoming and outgoing shipments up to delivery to the end customer.
ZetesZeus is supported by ZetesOlympus: As a cloud-based data collaboration platform within the Zetes’ Collaborative Supply Chain Suite, it stores item IDs, logical links and events related to an item. Decision-makers are able to seamlessly trace relevant data at item level and determine what happened when, where and why.
