From 28 to 30 November, the beverage industry will come together for the capital goods trade fair with an extensive supporting programme and a mix of the tried and tested and the new. 

The organisers have used the break to sharpen the trade fair profile. Exhibitors present Products, solutions and trends for the production and marketing of beer, water, alcoholic beverages, spirits, wine and sparkling wine - complemented by a tailored and varied supporting programme. „We connect diversity“ - the new motto points the way forward for BrauBeviale.

The BrauBeviale looks back on a success story spanning decades. It has its origins in beer and brewing. Brewers and maltsters still form the core of the trade visitors. At this year's event, the focus will also be on wine and sparkling wine. In the non-alcoholic beverages segment, almost 70 per cent of the exhibitors already registered explicitly products and solutions for manufacturers in the AfG sector ready. Interested trade visitors can view a selection of exhibitors for individual beverage sectors in advance to get ideas and plan their visit to the trade fair as efficiently as possible.

The As usual, exhibitors are organised along the beverage production process chain around the exhibition parkfrom raw materials to machinery and equipment, packaging, marketing and components. Experts from the technical and commercial management of the entire beverage industry can plan their visit to the trade fair in a compact and clearly organised way. An initial list of exhibitors is already available online on the BrauBeviale website.

This year, the trade fair has made enquiries: 60 per cent of the exhibitors who have already registered state that they want to offer products and solutions specifically for these visitor groups. in the portfolio. At BrauBeviale 2023, the organisers will also focus more strongly on these topics in the supporting programme. For example, in cooperation with the Bavarian State Institute for Viticulture and Horticulture (LWG), there will be a special show on „Grape Processing and Cellar Management“, which is aimed specifically at winegrowers and sparkling wine producers.

Supporting programme for the trade fair

The BrauBeviale Forum stands for Inspiration and knowledge transfer and sheds light on current and upcoming topics and challenges for the beverage industry in Germany and Europe. This year, exhibitors will be more involved in the programme design. Focus topics that are of equal concern to all beverage sectors include Sustainability, energy, raw materials, exports, prohibition policy and the European packaging law. Details of the individual programme items will follow in good time before the event.

The Craft Drinks Area will also be back in 2023. Interested trade fair visitors can take part in guided tastings of beer, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks at four different bars. The focus of the Craft Drinks Area is on professional education and innovative drinks. New this year is the Young Talents Camp. A shortage of skilled labour and concerns about the next generation are also commonplace in the beverage industry. For this reason, the trade fair offers companies, trainees, students and young professionals alike the opportunity to network with one another.

Programme for young companies and start-ups

The joint stand „Innovation made in Germany“ enables start-ups and young companies from Germany to introduce themselves to the trade public and present product innovations at the trade fair. There will also be a Area for international start-ups give. For interested trade visitors, there will be guided tours of the trade fair focussing on individual sectors or specific topics. Home and hobby brewers will also find their home again with a special programme. As one of the most important beer competitions in the world, the European Beer Star is constantly breaking new participation records. It was launched exactly 20 years ago by the Private Breweries, the conceptual sponsor of the trade fair, the German and European umbrella organisations. It has its exhibition home at BrauBeviale. As usual, the European Beer Star awards ceremony will take place on the second day of BrauBeviale. For the first time, the renowned competition will also be held in Nuremberg for the tasting of the submitted beers by a jury of around 130 experts.
