At the traditional press conference at interpack, Multivac looks back on a successful 2022 despite all the uncertainties. The company will also be presenting its new corporate design for the first time at the trade fair.
The new corporate design was developed with the aim of, Multivac as well as Fritisch and TVI, which have been part of the group of companies for several years, under the umbrella brand Multivac Group.

On course for further growth
Despite all the economic challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic and the war in Ukraine the Multivac Group could increase its turnover by 8.7 per cent to around 1.5 billion euros in 2022. The number of employees increased to around 7,000 worldwide.

They offer real added value for our customers, for example through fast response times, on-site advice and support with preventive maintenance - and form the basis for stable business development.“

Multiply Your Value on four exhibition areas
As an integrated solution provider, the Multivac Group under the motto „Multiply Your Value“ their Comprehensive portfolio for the food industry as well as for the medical goods and pharmaceutical industries at the trade fair in a total of four exhibition areas.
„We use several fully automated packaging lines to demonstrate our extensive automation expertise. At the same time the comprehensive Multivac Line Control (MLC) enables efficient, centralised operation of our processing and packaging lines“, explains Dr Tobias Richter. „We will also be focussing on our broad portfolio of semi-automatic and automatic packaging solutions for small and medium-sized processors at interpack. We will also be presenting various concepts for the production of sustainable packaging solutions as well as solutions for the digitalisation of processes and business models. We offer our customers with the digital Multivac Smart Services a variety of applications, which can be used to increase machine availability, performance, quality and therefore efficiency.“
„The product innovations that we will be presenting at the trade fair include the SLX 2000 high-performance slicer, which sets new standards on the market in many respects, and the TX 6 series, a new compact class of TX traysealers, which, thanks to its small footprint, makes a targeted contribution to increasing performance in the smallest of spaces. With the W 500 and W 510, we are presenting our new flowpackers, which are characterised by maximum productivity, flexibility and packaging and process reliability.“
With a view to the topics of digitalisation and sustainability, which are the focus of interpack, Christian Traumann summed up: „Digitalisation creates potential, not only for new business models that increase transparency and process reliability. Digitalisation is also an enabler for intelligent and sustainable production. With its technologies, mechanical engineering can provide answers to the questions of our time, for example with regard to sustainability. As a technology leader, the Multivac Group wants to help shape the future. Therefore We are involved in important industry initiatives such as R-Cycle and the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance. The technological openness practised in these mergers offers great potential for innovation, from which our customers can also benefit.“
