Flexible labelling solutions

Different parameters come together in labelling. cab presents solutions for printing, dispensing and applying labels.

Various parameters play a role in labelling. High processing speed, variable data and tight product sequences can vary just as much as print volume, width and label size. At Labelexpo Europe, cab will be presenting solutions for printing, dispensing and applying labels.

The print units of the SQUIX and HERMES Q models can be combined with applicators. Labels are pressed on depending on the application. Rolled along a conveyor belt or blown onto surfaces with compressed air. Labels can also be wrapped around cylindrical objects, attached to laboratory samples or applied as flags around cables.

cab has just developed a deposit table for the last printed label for the HERMES Q label printer. This can be picked up by a robot, for example. If the application changes, applicators can be replaced as required. The Modular concept is available worldwide thanks to standardisation. The installation of a UHF RFID read/write module and an RFID antenna in a SQUIX or HERMES Q printer enables the realisation of smart labels.

In the case of the XD Q printer type, the labels equipped with a chip can even be printed on both sides in a single operation. Textile service providers in particular benefit. Sorting errors are eliminated. All the statistics for an item of laundry are available. This ensures Complete traceability and personalised billing during cleaning and provision.

Digital interfaces

The architecture of cab printing and labelling systems is designed for a wide range of applications, High adaptability and integrability in automation lines. The systems provide the necessary interfaces, including Industry 4.0 protocols. The company has digitally modelled an interface that allows the equipment to be used directly in automation and robot solutions. makes. For this purpose, the label printing system is integrated into the development software of a German start-up. It is therefore compatible with other modules from their modular system. Customised integration into process technology is possible with minimal effort.
