Bluhm Systeme: resource-saving labelling solutions

In keeping with this year's Anuga FoodTec focus on ‚resource efficiency‘, Bluhm Systeme will be presenting corresponding labelling technology, in which, for example, compressed air consumption has been reduced or whose components outlast their own life cycle.

Resource efficiency is the main focus of Anuga FoodTec. This also applies to product and packaging labelling. This is why Bluhm Systeme is presenting appropriate labelling technology in which, for example, the consumption of compressed air has been reduced, there is no need for an enclosure or whose components outlast their own life cycle. Almost all components of the Linx 8900 printer series are designed in this way.

„Designed for life“ is what the manufacturer calls this contribution to resource conservation. The Linx 89s are particularly suitable for batch and best-before date labelling. There are not only special „Dairy Coders“ for the dairy industry, but also system variants with IP protection 65, which print up to five lines on plastic, metal, glass or coated cardboard. With many practical functions and features such as long print head cleaning and maintenance intervals, touchscreen and production throughput display, the printers also increase production time and make work easier.

Labelling with high performance

The Legi-Air 6000 high-performance labeller only requires compressed air to apply the labels using the tamp-blow method. The dispensing applicator is moved purely servo-electrically. This means that there is no need for compressed air. Thanks to a consistent lightweight design with carbon fibre components, the applicator is also around 80 percent lighter than a conventional model. With 2,250 cycles per hour, the Legi-Air 6000 labels cartons of different heights with above-average speed and precision.
