The British consultancy PA Consulting wants to strengthen its position in the field of sustainable packaging with the acquisition of the first PulPac Scala production line. The technology is based on PulPac's dry moulded fibre technology and is intended to ensure greater sustainability in the packaging industry.
The PulPac Scala machine platform has new capabilities that enable the production of high-quality, customised packaging solutions with high output. They are also tailored to the strict requirements of sustainable packaging. Based on existing injection moulding components, which have been adapted for dry moulded fibre, Scala now offers new specifications with a focus on recyclability.
„With the purchase of a PulPac Scala machine, we are taking another step towards bringing sustainable dry moulded fibre packaging to life. The production line is now fully commissioned on site in Cambridge, UK and will enable us to better serve global brands with end-to-end production capabilities - from feasibility to market launch.“
